I was waiting the entire year for cookie time. Especially, since I had my very own Christmas elf this year. It was so much fun to see how much my little girl could do on her own. To our own surprise the kitchen neither exploded nor did it need a major cleaning after we finished. Since it was a trial run we made very classic

Shortbread Cookies.

They are very easy and perfect for beginners.
You'll need
500 g flour
200 ml agave syrup
1 tsp vanilla sugar
350 g melted butter
1 egg, 2 egg yolks
lemon aroma

Mix flour, agave syrup, vanilla sugar, arome  with the eggs and add the melted butter until dough has formed. Cover the dough and refrigiate it for on hour.

Lightly powder the counter and roll out the dough. Be careful not to spread it out too much or your cookies will turn out dry and quite dark! Have fun with your cookie cutters and place the cookies on a baking sheet.

Bake them for 10 minutes at 180°C. Let them cool for a while before eating your heart out!
Have fun! UMM-NUM-NUM-NUM-NUM!!!
