Spring Beauty Essentials

Beauty Time. After hybernating for several month (I'm just not a winter person) I feel like this past weekend really woke me up again. I was so happy to see the sun again! Not to mentaion that I don't really feel like a new year has started unless spring has come. I don't care what the offical calendar says.

I spent the entire last week planning my spring cleaning. We did a first sweep of our apartment this weekend to prep for the coming major cleaning. I also did check my wardrobe and got an essentials shopping list down. Do you want to see it? But first I wanted to share my spring beauty essentials with you. That has been on my 99 before 30 list for a while and I wanted to cross it off!

1 During the colder months I usually wear Dior Hypnotic Poison but that feels a little heavy when the sun is shinning like this. Right now I prefer Herve Leger Femme. It is such a wonderful perfume for transitioning in bewteen seasons.

2 Now is the time for some pretty pastels - for a mix and match or as a solo artist on your hands and feet. I currently favour Essie. Namely tart deco and apple mind cand which I are older shades but I still love them. New to my collection anre braziliant and all tied up. I'm quite sure you'll see them quite often in future outfit posts...

3 With the sun comes clear skin and I can pack my heavy makeup goodbye for a few months. For now I'll use my new Vichy Idéalia BB Creme. As mentioned in a previous post it is highly pigmented and dupes wonderfully for a foundation during most days. Whenever I feel the need for a little more cover I use Studio Fix Fluid NC25 from MAC Cosmetics.

4The easiest way for me to like polished during spring (or for that matter summer) is a light pink lipstick. I'm really picky with pink colours since many don't match my skin too well. My go to nuance is "Diamond Rose" from the Ultra Color Rich line of Avon. This shade brightens my face without looking to done as a result.

5 My body lotions change a lot. I love to try out new ones. Right now I'm using Planet Spa Mediterranean Olive Oil from Avon. I got it some time ago but never tried it before. I still had so many others to try...

6 You can really see the effects off winter and heater air on my hair. To get it spring ready I use a deep conditioner. Right now I'm experimenting with Gliss Kur Hair Repair. Does any of you have experience with that brand?

Does your beauty routine change much with a new season?
Have a fun week!
